I absolutely love you site. We bought five acres last year and hope to build a house and small farm on the property. We go every week to do a little work since we won’t be able to move there full time for another 4-5 years. I want my chickens and goats so bad! When I visit your site ~ I get to daydream about what our little homestead will look like. I appreciate all the information you’ve made available. I can’t imagine all the people you’ve helped over the years. I’m hoping to be able to purchase my little sweeties from you (we live in Virginia). THANKS AGAIN ~ you’re one in a million!
Im looking at getting a couple of goats and came across your site. Love the pics. I see you enjoyed London, Im originally from England been over here in NC for 6 yrs.
Love your kids by the way adorable.
Hi Molly,
My goat had her first baby last night! Everything went like you said it would and I have a little boy! I already love him. It was her first baby and mine. I reed your wed site 50 times if not more. I did everything you said from the wright buck ,to signs to look for, to eathing, to the bubble, and the way the baby should and should not come out, first milking to, birth color and I could go on and on. If I had not come across your wed site 9 months ago I would have never been able to have this baby and been 99.9% sure what I was doing. There is not another wed site like yours!!!! I have looked! There is no way to thank you anofe. I have a happy doe and baby so I am beaming!! Thank you and God Bless your big hart. Melisa
What cutie kids. My 1st nubian baby has now turned into a stinky little boy. No longer the cutie he is full blown boy. I enjoyed your photo gallery so much. Hope you keep posting them. Happy goating……
I love your site…I was looking for a picture you had on your site of some your goats climbing in some felled trees….I wanted to show my daughter (who raises La Manchas)
Could you tell me how to find it and view it? It was GREAT!
Thank - You for sharing!
I have been a goat owner for one year. I am always searching for helpful tips to care for my Pigmys
the owner called them (pocket goats)
i have a couple white and mostly black or black with white like salt and pepper . I really became attached when the first baby was born. I had no idea they were even expecting! I woke up one morning in Jan. and as soon as I stepped outside i heard the little bleeting and was so amazed to see the baby girl standing and mom was cleaning her.
I wrapped her in a feed sack and while I close the pen off so mom and baby could have some privacy and stay warm .
I really have learned so much from your site so far and only discovered it an hour ago.
I am looking for suggestions on what to feed my goats. I have read that alphafa is not good for the males. I have been trying to find some grass hay and it is really scarce right now. I buy goat pellets at the feed store. and mineral salt .
I am in Odessa TX.
thanks again for sharing.
